A simple Eye Testing For Adrenal Fatigue

Eye-Testing-For-Adrenal-Fatigue

Nowadays, being overwhelmed is more a rule than an exception. People run without stopping to finish their work and do not take the time to relax. Consequence of this lifestyle even crazier, they end up more stressed. And if you suffer from adrenal fatigue?
Adrenal Fatigue, what is it?
James Wilson has written a fascinating book entitled Adrenaline: Enough is enough! The stress syndrome of the 21st century, which reveals how stress affects our hormones and what it does to the human body. Adrenal fatigue is actually a fatigue of our adrenal glands, which produce different hormones.
These same hormones determine how we react to stress, affecting our sugar levels in the blood, our blood pressure, our weight, our libido and how our body uses nutrients. If we are constantly under stress, fatigue occurs which makes our adrenal glands unable to maintain the production of cortisol, a hormone that acts as a defense mechanism and helps our body against stress.
Symptoms of Adrenal Fatigue
  • A quick temper
  • decreased libido
  • immuitaire disorder
  • Chronic fatigue
  • Dizziness
  • Greater stress sensitivity.
If you experience any of these symptoms, have a visual acuity test (accommodative ability of the iris). This test is designed to measure the endurance of your body to light stimulation. If the test shows that your stamina has decreased, this may indicate that your adrenal glands are struggling to withstand stressful situations.
TESTING VISUAL ACUITY
The iris is located in the aqueous humor between the cornea and lens. If you tired to exhaustion, iI can stop working effectively because it is a muscle. In response to light, your pupil contracts, which means that you fatigue a muscle in your body. In case of adrenal fatigue, the test can detect it because your pupil will no longer remain contracted over 2 minutes.
To do the test, you need to:
  • -A mirror
  • A room plunged into darkness
  • a stopwatch
  • A small flashlight
How To Proceed ?
Sit in front of the mirror in a room plunged into darkness for about a minute, to allow your eyes to adjust. Brighten with a flashlight next to your head until one eye, but not directly to the eye. You must hold the torch at about 15 cm from your face.
While illuminating an eye, keep looking in the mirror with the other, because you're supposed to see your pupil to contract after the light reaches your eye.
With your stopwatch to measure the time that lasts contraction.
If your pupil fails to remain contracted long time, it means that you are suffering from adrenal fatigue. On the other hand, if you redo the test after a month and you notice your pupil contracts longer, this means that you get rid of the adrenal fatigue.
However, the main sign of adrenal fatigue is when there is no contraction at all ...
How to help your adrenals recover?
You should definitely consult your doctor if you suffer from adrenal fatigue. You should also check your cortisol levels. Meanwhile, you can make changes in your lifestyle to prevent or treat this problem. Among them :
