What Is Your Spirit Animal

The Amerindians have always had very close ties with the Earth and all the creatures that populate it. Their belief is that each one of us is spiritually associated with an animal, a totem, based on our date of birth. Each sign influences the personality, destiny and aspects of the character. So what is your totem and what does that mean?

The Otter (20 January - 19 February)

The otters are courageous and eccentric on the one hand, but on the other they have no problem solving problems and never give up until they have a solution. Many find these people mysterious but they do not care. They have a unique worldview and do not care what others think of them. The otters are thirsty for freedom and adventure but are also sweet and are empathic people.

The Wolf (February 20 - March 19)

The wolf is complicated, independent and mysterious. He likes to stand back and observe what surrounds him by taking notes, hence the name "lone wolf". It can be difficult to approach and tends to hide his emotions and show only what he wants to people. He is very creative, intelligent and artistic. He spends a lot of time alone to perfect his skills.

The Falcon (March 20 - April 19)

This raptor represents the astrological sign of Aries deemed to be ferocious, independent and dominant. Falcons like to supervise everything and be in control. They do not like to be controlled or receive orders, let alone be tamed. They plunge their heads first into the realization of new projects or ideas, without thinking or analyzing the situation. They can be intolerable and cheeky, but basically they have a golden heart.

The Beaver (April 20 - May 20)

The beaver has a strong work ethic and only stops once the task is completed. He may, however, be stubborn and not listen to anyone. He is loyal, honest and you can always count on him. He has his head on his shoulders and is pragmatic and logical.

The Deer (May 21 - June 20)

Although the deer is docile in nature, he is very sociable and very appreciated by his entourage. He is keen and does not stop until his goal is reached. He is friendly and has a big heart, but can also be withdrawn and prefer to remain alone.

The Woodpeaker (21 June - 21 July)

This noble bird is persevering, devoted and very courageous. It looks small but it is very strong and its presence is noticed. He is not at all arrogant, he is even very modest, kind and very attentive. However, he is quickly disappointed when his expectations do not succeed.

Salmon (July 22 - August 21)

The salmon has a beautiful personality and illuminates the space by its presence. He loves being the center of attention. He is talented, intelligent, sociable and has many plans for the future. He likes to surround himself with optimistic and positive people.

The Bear (22 August - 21 September)

The bear is logical, strategic, courageous and direct. He has great patience and will always be loyal. He is usually calm and rarely shows his bad character.

The Raven (September 22 - October 22)

People associated with the raven have an innate gift to create the perfect balance in their lives, and help others do the same. They do not tolerate injustice or harassment and always defend others.

Crows are generally quiet, but they know what they want and do everything to have it. They speak eloquently and seem calm and zen even when they are very restless inside.

The Snake (October 23 - November 22)

Snakes have a bad reputation, but do not judge them before they know them. They may seem distant and sneaky, but they have a good heart. They are sensitive and creative, but watch out! Never hurt them because they have easy revenge ...

The Owl (November 23 - December 21)

Owls seem to have a double personality. As much as they are very wise, strong and patient, they can be capricious and unstable. They tend to lock themselves into an almost impenetrable shell, unless they treat them with great patience. Owls are serious but warm and friendly. They do not like routine and adore change and adventure.

The Goose (December 22 - January 19)

The geese are hardworking workers and give themselves so deeply into what they do that they neglect other aspects of their lives. They do not let themselves be easily impressed or influenced by the opinions of others, but take a cunning pleasure in trying to persuade people to adopt theirs. One of their biggest fears in life is failure, which is why they devote themselves wholeheartedly to their work.
