The latter contribute to digestion in the duodenum by decreasing the size of the food portions, which will eventually be absorbed into the intestines.

The main dietary sources of vitamin B1 are: nuts, whole grains and pulses.




Vitamin B12:

Essential for the protection of the nervous system, vitamin B12 also contributes to the formation of DNA, the synthesis of neurotransmitters and the production of red blood cells. This vitamin, just like vitamin B3, can be stored in certain organs of the body, unlike other B vitamins.

Due to the functions it plays in the body, a deficit can have many consequences on health. Symptoms of vitamin B 12 deficiency include fatigue, shortness of breath, mood disorders, flatulence, nausea, and constipation.

Therefore  if you suffer from digestive problems, especially bloating, it may be due to a lack of vitamin B 12.

To remedy this problem, simply increase your intake of this vitamin. Vitamin B12 is found primarily in products of animal origin such as eggs, cheeses, fish, meat and seafood.
