In the kitchen, we are all familiar with the small problems of everyday life: vegetables that rot quickly, food that hardens in the refrigerator or the excessive amount of salt in soup, etc. In this article, you will find different tips and tricks to get rid of it effectively and effortlessly!

Kitchen tips and tricks:

1 - Dairy products
To prevent bacterial proliferation in dairy products such as white cheese or cream, just place the pot upside down in the refrigerator. In this way the whey is placed in the bottom, which makes the multiplication of bacteria difficult.

2 - Vegetables
To prolong the life of your fresh vegetables, spread paper on the shelf of your refrigerator before putting down your vegetables. By absorbing excess water, this tip will prevent the rotting of your vegetables and prolong their life.

3- eggs
To find out if your eggs are fresh or not, place them one by one in a glass of water. A fresh egg will sink to the bottom, while a rotten egg will remain on the surface.

4 - Brown Sugar and Salt
First, be aware that keeping your brown sugar in the refrigerator will prevent it from hardening. Otherwise, to soften it, you can place it in an airtight bag with a piece of bread or apple for a few hours. For salt, just add a few seeds of rice to its pot to absorb moisture.

5 - Cheese
If your cheese has hardened and cracks appear on its surface, you can soften it by generously sprinkling it with oil or butter. It is necessary to insist on the cracks and the detached edges.

6 - Butter
If you have extra butter and want to store it, put it in an airtight bag and put it in the fridge. So you can keep it for at least 6 months without absorbing the surrounding odors.

To soften meat that is too hard, marinate it in beer, tomato juice, lemon, pineapple or papaya. All these ingredients contain enzymes or acids that will give you an amazing result.

12 - A taste of burning
To remove the taste and smell of the burnt milk, add a small pinch of salt. As for your sauce, use 1 teaspoon of peanut butter for each cup of sauce, and nothing will appear!

13 - Fruits
If your fruit is still hard, place it in an airtight bag with an apple and let it sit overnight. The ethylene gas emitted by it will accelerate the ripening process.

14 - smell of plastic
Plastic containers tend to absorb odors. To deodorize them, place some pieces of newspaper inside, close tightly and leave to rest overnight. The next day, all the odors will have disappeared!

To save a burned pan, sprinkle it with 4 to 5 teaspoons of the salt and baking soda mixture. Fill it with water and let it soak overnight before washing.
