5 Carcinogenic Products That You Need To Get out of the House Immediately

Carcinogenic Products

Who would have thought that a cleaning product or a beautiful scented candle could cause such a serious illness? Unfortunately, these products purport to clean and purify our homes are real sources of disease and pollution. Indeed, most of these substances are accused of causing cancer, asthma, infertility and premature delivery.

According to the magazine 60 million consumers, more than one hundred products used daily have been classified as undesirable and even carcinogenic.
Obviously it is the pregnant women, the elderly and the children who are most influenced by these products. Here is a list of products to banish to live a healthy life.

1 - Artificial sweeteners:

Even harmful to health, artificial sugars or sweeteners are widely used these days because they are low in calories unlike natural sugar. They are found everywhere, in sodas, juices, cakes or in some toothpastes and chewing gums.

Aspartame (E951): It is found in the majority of our food. This artificial additive is used to sweeten drinks and food without using sucrose. Some healthcare professionals claim aspartame to be a carcinogen. It is present on packaging under number E951.

Sorbitol (E420): It exists naturally in certain foods, such as prunes, plums and peaches. In its industrial form, it is suspected of being carcinogenic and disrupting the digestive system, it should be avoided or used in moderate amounts. Doses greater than 5g may cause intestinal symptoms and diarrhea especially in children. Sorbitol is not recommended in pregnant and lactating women.

Acesulfame K or Acesulfame potassium (E950): Like all other artificial sweeteners, Acesulfame K is a potential carcinogen. The maximum daily dose of Acesulfame-K is 15 milligrams per kilogram of body weight per day. This substance can also cause an increase in cholesterol, hypoglycemia and lung problems.

Saccharin (E954): It is a zero-calorie sweetener, but it is 300 to 400 times sweeter than sugar. Descriptive studies have demonstrated a link between saccharin and the development of bladder cancer in rats. In addition, this sweetener can affect blood sugar control and cause many allergies.

Healthy natural alternatives for sweet taste:

You can use these natural sweeteners:

Stevia: It presents itself as a direct alternative to aspartame and only keeps few calories. Stevia is very interesting for people with diabetes or people who suffer from hypertension because it has the ability to lower blood pressure and blood glucose levels.
Pear Syrup or Syrup from Yacon: this syrup is a sweetener extracted from the roots of the pear. It is often used in weight loss diets but with limited amounts.

2 - Non-stick utensils:

These utensils are covered with a material known as teflon which prevents food from sticking, but which is extremely toxic from 230 ° C. Non-stickers can expose you to two very harmful chemicals, namely Tetrafluoroethylene (TFE) and perfluoro-octanoic acid. These two substances migrate into food during cooking and pass into the placenta and breast milk. In addition to their carcinogenic potential, they are responsible for congenital diseases and the decline in male fertility. These utensils can be replaced with other ceramics.

3 - Plastic food packaging:

Food containers and plastic bottles are classified as possibly carcinogenic. Most of them contain bisphenol-A, which is a chemical agent with a hormone-like configuration that alters our hormonal balance. For better health, use reusable glass or plastic containers and bottles.
