Caring for your feet should absolutely be part of our daily routine. Under the weight of our bodies and passing long hours confined in shoes, they are often dry, cracked and full of calluses. To help you find nice feet without breaking the bank, here are two very affordable ingredients to use today!

Before you unveil the two ingredients that will help you to showcase your feet, here are some practical tips to ensure their hygiene on a daily basis.

The steps of good foot hygiene:

Foot bath: cleanses the skin of the feet, removes it from sweat, and softens it to ease the removal of calluses

Exfoliation: removes dead skin and impurities and facilitates penetration of skin care products

Hydration: an essential gesture to soften the skin and protect it from dryness and the appearance of crevasses

Nail care: nail and cuticle care is one of the essential gestures for beautiful and healthy feet.

To pamper your feet and sublimate them after a long day to run in all directions, here is a home-based care based on two very effective natural ingredients!

A home care for sublime feet:

To prepare it, you will need only the following two ingredients:
  • 2 or 3 cups of milk
  • 3 tablespoons baking soda

Instructions :

Start by heating the milk without boiling, then pour it into a basin wide enough to hold both your feet. Check the milk temperature, then soak the feet for 5 minutes. Then use baking soda to make a light foot scrub, emphasizing heels and calluses.

Divide the feet in the milk for 5 to 10 minutes, then rinse them in warm water and dry them with a towel. Finish your treatment by applying your usual cream or moisturizing oil.

Benefits of Ingredients:

Milk: The cosmetic qualities of milk have been known for millennia. Containing lactic acid, it helps to exfoliate the skin while nourishing it and moisturizing it in depth. In addition, milk also has restorative and whitening qualities that will enhance the appearance of your skin.

Baking soda: This product can do wonders on your feet. Thanks to its antibacterial, antiseptic and antifungal properties, it helps to rebalance the pH of the skin, treat fungal infections and relieve itching. It also has deodorizing virtues that effectively eliminate bad odors.

Some tips to keep your feet healthy:

To prepare a natural scrub for your feet, you can mix olive oil with salt or sugar, as you can use coffee grounds mixed with a vegetable oil of your choice and a little honey.

If you are a fan of nail polish, do not keep it for more than 3 days, as it prevents gas exchange, weakens nails and promotes the appearance of stains.

Take the time to walk barefoot, preferably on the sand, to let your feet breathe and strengthen their muscles.

Avoid wearing tight, heeled shoes that are too high or too flat to prevent blood from circulating in your feet.
