Types of cough

Dry cough:

Sudden and sometimes uncontrollable air expiration, the dry cough is characterized by the absence of mucus. It usually appears at the beginning and at the end of certain diseases such as rhinopharyngitis, sinusitis, colds, etc. Worsening during the night, it alters the quality of sleep of the person who suffers, which reduces his physical and mental performance the following day. In addition, dry coughing has a strong irritant effect on the respiratory tract, requiring prompt and effective treatment.

The fatty cough:

It is distinguished from the dry cough by the presence of mucus or sputum. These are secretions full of pathogens, pus and fine particles that the body seeks to eliminate. It is therefore important not to try to stop it, because this would only aggravate the condition of the patient by cluttering his lungs even more. Moreover, in case of fatty cough, it is recommended to drink a lot of water to facilitate the evacuation of these mucus.
