Indeed, these substances that invade the body prevent the organs from functioning properly and cause several problems such as dull complexion and acne, persistent fatigue or even mood changes, depression and weight gain.

Normally, the body is able to get rid of these wastes and toxins, but in some cases, their accumulation is so large that it can not eliminate everything. Thus, helping the body purify and flush toxins out of its system is essential to preserve its health and energy.

How to detoxify the body?

To free the body of toxins, it is important to adopt a healthy lifestyle:

Eat healthy and balanced: avoid processed products and promote fruits and vegetables that are rich in nutrients and especially antioxidants. Also reduce your intake of red meat and refill the probiotics, which improve the intestinal transit and thus facilitate the elimination of toxins.

- Drinking plenty of water is also essential to prevent dehydration, but also to drain toxins out of the body. It is recommended to drink 1.5l per day.

- Limit or avoid alcohol consumption. Alcoholic beverages consumed in excess increase the rate of free radicals in the body and fatigue the liver, which is essential in the elimination of toxins.

- Getting enough sleep, between 7 and 9 hours a day

- Practice sports regularly

48 Hour Detox Plan:

The detox plan we offer below can be done over a period of 10 days, repeated twice a year, or two days more regularly during the year.

Here is the 48h version, to try during the weekend preferably. Note that during these two days, it is important to drink 250 ml of lukewarm water on an empty stomach, before going to breakfast.

Saturday :

Breakfast: One cup of oatmeal, mixed with a teaspoon of flaxseed. 200 ml almond milk, ½ cup blueberry and a cup of green tea.

Lunch: 250 ml water, two cups of mesclun, a tomato and green vegetables. A portion of grilled hake, a steamed chard and steamed potato salad seasoned with olive oil.

Snacks: 250 ml water, goat or almond milk yogurt and ¼ cup pumpkin seeds

Dinner: 250 ml water or a large cup of aniseed tea, two cups of salad seasoned with olive oil and lemon, a toast of bread, a portion of grilled tuna and a half cup of broccoli and Spinach steamed.

Sunday :

Breakfast: a cup of oatmeal with a teaspoon of flaxseed, 200 ml of almond milk, a pear and a cup of green tea

Lunch: 250 ml water, vegetable soup (peppers, onions, potatoes, peas, carrots and celery) and a serving of grilled chicken breast

Snack: an apple and a handful of nuts

Dinner: A full bread toast, a carrot salad and beetroot seasoned with lemon juice and a grilled salmon pavement
