The quality of our skin depends not only on our genetic heritage but also on many other factors including our diet, our lifestyle and our daily beauty routine. Similarly, good lifestyle habits, which consist of regular physical activity, adequate sleep, reduced stress and the absence of alcohol and smoking, are also essential to preserve and prolong the brightness and youth skin.

As for the daily beauty routine, it must respect your skin type and needs, and be done with natural and non-aggressive products. Moreover, to help you get better results, here is a natural facial treatment, effective and very simple to achieve.

An incredible homemade face care:

Step 1: Cleaning

First, start by soaking a cotton disc in rosewater, then use it to remove any makeup residues and impurities accumulated on your skin. You can repeat the procedure until the cotton disc becomes clean after passing it on your face.

Then use organic cotton, organic milk on your whole face and let it dry in the open, before rinsing with clear water. In addition to cleansing the skin with its lactic acid content, it also helps to nourish, hydrate and whiten it.

Step 2: Steam

Once your preliminary cleaning is complete, soak a towel in very hot water, wring it out to extract excess water, then apply it to your face for 4 to 5 minutes, highlighting areas where you have blackheads. The heat allows the expansion of the pores and facilitates the removal of blackheads and impurities.

Step 3: Scrub

To prepare your homemade scrub, mix 2 tablespoons of sugar with 1 tablespoon of olive oil (or coconut) and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice. Apply your scrub to your entire face, avoiding the eye contour, then gentle circular movements to unclog your pores and reactivate blood circulation to your skin. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.

Step 4: Facial Massage and Mask

This last step consists of massaging the face with honey and lemon juice in equal amounts, 2 teaspoons approximately, for 1 minute. Then, let your mask act for 15 to 20 minutes, maximum, before rinsing with cold water to tighten the pores and stretch the skin.

Lemon, antiseptic, whitening and astringent, cleanses the skin, tightens and whitens it, while honey, antibacterial, repairing and moisturizing, purifies, hydrates and promotes its regeneration.

Caution: this treatment is to be carried out only in the evening, because of the photo-sensitizing properties of the lemon
