Remove Stains From Your White Clothes

What are you using to wash those ugly stains of food or wine from your white clothes? It is surely detergents whose effectiveness is not always the rendezvous, especially on certain fabrics. However, there are many simple tips that cost nothing to get rid of tough stains.

Sometimes even the most popular stain cleaner can not eliminate this stubborn stain on your white shirt. And sometimes, even if you keep trying to wash it, you will not have the desired result.

Fortunately, with the help of some common household ingredients, you can give your white clothes their initial whiteness, and most importantly get rid of all stains quickly and efficiently.

Here are the 3 best tips to easily clean your white clothes, and completely remove these stubborn stains.

Tip 1 - Baking soda

Pour 4 liters of water into a plastic basin and add a cup of baking soda. Once it dissolves in the water, put the stained clothes in the solution and leave them for a few minutes. Once washed and rinsed, they will return to their original color.

Tip 2 - Aspirin

This is another surprising way to clean the stains of wine and food from your clothes, as well as to make their color perfectly white.

Fill a plastic container with water and add 6 crushed aspirins. Put your clothes in the water and let them soak for 30 minutes. Then wash them as you always do using your detergent. After that, your clothes will be white again.

Tip 3 - Lemon and white vinegar

A mixture of vinegar and lemon juice will help remove any stain from your white clothes, and restore their initial whiteness.

Mix equal parts of both ingredients and wash your clothes in the solution. There should be no stains on your white shirt after washing with this combination.

Not only will your clothes regain their original white color, but they will have a scent of freshness.

However, for other colors and fabrics, some spots require special treatment, here are the most popular ones:

Coffee or tea

The best and quickest way to remove stains from coffee or tea is to treat them instantly: pour sparkling water over the stain and rub it until it disappears completely.

Otherwise, soak the garment in warm water and apply the detergent directly to the stain, allow it a few moments for the detergent to absorb, then gently rub the stain and rinse.

Peanut Butter

The first thing to do is to gently scrape the excess peanut butter off the garment, either using a dull knife or spatula. Apply the detergent and wash it at the warmest possible temperature, but be sure to check that the temperature is safe for the fabric from which the garment is made.

Alternatively, warm up towels or paper towels and apply them on the stain, this will remove some of the oil from the fabric and make the stain easier to remove.

Chewing gum

The first thing to do is to scrape off the excess chewing gum from the garment, but make sure that the chewing gum has hardened, because if it is still soft, you may have it stick more to the fabric. Then take an ice cube and rub the rest of the chewing gum very well, then scrape the stain with a dull knife or spatula, repeat the procedure until you completely remove the chewing gum.

Mustard

As with the stains above, first remove the excess with a dull knife or spatula. When scraping, be sure to work the stain from the inside, so that it does not spill even more. Add the detergent and leave on for a few minutes before washing.

Fruit juice

First, run cold water over the stain and, if possible, run boiling water to help remove it, or soak the stain in lemon juice for 15 to 30 minutes. . Afterwards, wash as usual.

Tomato sauce

First, discard as much sauce as possible, either by removing it with a spoon or a dull knife. Once this is done, put the garment under cold water again, working from the inside out, so that the stain is easier to remove. Rub the detergent over the stain and wash as usual.

Chocolate

Use a dull knife again to remove the chocolate from the fabric, but be careful not to damage it. If that does not help, use cold water and gently rub the stain. Do not use hot water as this may make the situation worse and spread the stain further.
