Science Confirms That Intelligent People Go To Bed Late, Are Disordered And Say Bad Words

Intelligence is a mental characteristic that varies from person to person, it manifests itself in different ways and to different degrees. Science has therefore adopted several criteria in recent decades in order to be able to classify the different levels of intelligence and to be able to identify them more easily. As far as we are concerned, we, the "common people", often tend to deceive ourselves by accusing some people around us of being stupid, while some of their behaviors, though annoying, may be indicative of liveliness above average.

Is IQ the universal indicator of intelligence?

Such a question is the subject of considerable debate in the scientific community because the fact that the IQ (intelligence quotient) gives an idea of the real level of intelligence in a person is not at all unanimous. Especially since the IQ test originally created in 1905 (called the "mental capacity test") and developed in 1910 was supposed to give an idea of mental age in relation to a person's actual age. .

As a result, many experts in the psychological field are suspicious of this criterion and are very skeptical about the fact that some universities adopt it as the criterion of acceptance when passing membership exams. What prevents IQ from being a safe bet for testing a person's intelligence is that it very often puts to the test things that come under the acquis and not the innate. Knowing that a poor result in an IQ test, in the presence of its fairly large margin of error, can result in some people depression and a loss of self-esteem almost total.

Since 1983, Dr. Howard Gardner has conducted extensive research on this subject, in which he has shown that such a criterion represents only one form of intelligence and excludes others. He explained that a person with a high IQ could quite possibly be unable to perform mental tasks that another individual with a lower IQ could do without worry.

It is, among other things, why some scientists have looked into the search for more concrete methods to evaluate the effective intelligence of individuals in their daily interaction with the world around them. Some of them are used to using IQ as a simple comparison tool among others and not as a basis for their evaluations.

Intelligent people tend to use curse words

We often hear that people who swear have a restricted vocabulary or are not cultivated. However, in reality, individuals who do not use rude words are those who limit their personal vocabulary, because they intentionally use fewer words than others.

American academics have decided to conduct an interesting experiment. They asked people to remember as many words as possible. The results were surprising: those who remembered more words had the highest IQ of the entire group. The speaking skills of these people were also much higher than those with less profanity.

Many intelligent people are night owls

If you like to stay awake until late, you're probably a very intelligent person. These people were able to obtain IQ scores that were higher than average. President Obama, Charles Darwin, Winston Churchill, Keith Richards and Elvis Presley are well known for their nocturnal activities. It is therefore very likely that you will be a privileged person if you go to bed a little late.

The disorder is a sign of intelligence

Research at the University of Minnesota has come to a rather unexpected conclusion: a messy desk does not indicate any intelligence inferiority at all, but rather the opposite, because the person focuses on things that really matter instead of trivial details. This is also why we tend to take care of his office when you have nothing to do particular.

In the end, intelligence can take many forms and it is this diversity that makes us have faculties and talents quite different from each other. So there is no universal indicator on this subject just as there is not one type of intelligence! We are all special in one way or another.
