Breast cancer is the most feared diagnosis by women. There are 58,968 new cases of breast cancer in France in 2017. Less than 10% of cancers in general are linked to genetic factors; 90% are, however, dependent on environmental factors.

Breast Cancers Could Be Avoided If Everyone Did These 12 Things

According to recent research, the risk of cancer can be reduced by avoiding certain chemicals, contained in the products of everyday life. As a result, many preventive measures are to be taken into consideration. Thus, according to Julia G. Brody, scientist and author of the Silent Spring Institute study, supported among others by the National Science Foundation and the National Institutes of Health, a reduction in exposure to chemicals could save the life of many women.

Highly toxic chemicals

  • Methyl eugenol, contained in pesticides, consumer products and processed foods.
  • Flame retardants: flame retardants, polyester resins, plastic polymers and rigid polyurethane foams.
  • Acrylamide: found in french fries, tobacco smoke, consumer products.
  • Aromatic amines: Polyurethane, pesticides, azo dyes.
  • Benzene: content in gasoline cars, tobacco smoke, paint removers, paints, sealants, finishes, fuels and motor oils.
  • Halogenated organic solvents: found in dry cleaning, aerosol propellant, soil fumigant, food processing, gasoline additives and paint and stain removers.
  • Ethylene (EtO) and propylene oxide (PO)
  • 1,3-Butadiene, contained in cigarette smoke, automobile exhaust, petrol vapors and emissions from industrial facilities.
  • Heterocyclic amines, contained in meat cooked at high temperature.
  • Endogenous and pharmaceutical hormones
  • Non-hormonal pharmaceuticals that have hormonal activity.
  • MX: One of hundreds of genotoxic byproducts of drinking water disinfection.
  • PFOA perfluorooctanoic acid, contained in the non-stick and anti-stain coating on carpets, furniture,
  • Nitro-PAHs: Air pollution.
  • PAH: Tobacco smoke, air pollution and carbonized foods.
  • Ochratoxin A (natural mycotoxin): Cereals and pork that may be contaminated
  • Styrene: Foods that have been in contact with polystyrene.
  • Other guilty products

Parabens used as preservatives in antiperspirants and many cosmetics have estrogenic activity in human breast cancer cells. In the same way, aluminum chloride gives rise to molecular transformations in cancer cells.

The 12 Breast Cancer Prevention Tips

According to the American Institute of Cancer Research, about 75 to 90% of breast cancers could be prevented by applying a healthier lifestyle.

1. Avoid sugar and fructose as well as processed foods, grain-based foods.

3. Consume natural vitamin A from foods such as organic egg yolk, raw butter, beef or chicken liver.

4. Iodine is a trace element essential for the synthesis of hormones, and its deficiency can contribute to the development of breast cancer.

5. Feed the intestinal flora: introduce probiotics into your diet either as a supplement or by means of naturally fermented foods.

6. Avoid GMOs, such as genetically modified foods, treated with herbicides such as Roundup (glyphosate) and favor fresh, organic foods.

7. Avoid charring your meats.

8. Spread out unfermented soy products.

9. Drink organic green vegetable juice every day.

10. Use green vegetables, herbs and spices in your diet.

11. Consume turmeric, considered a potent ingredient in the prevention of breast cancer metastasis.

12. Avoid drinking alcohol.

Other methods of prevention
  • Optimize vitamin D in the body, able to trigger apoptosis (cell death) of cancer cells.
  • Avoid xenoestrogens that are synthetic chemicals that mimic natural estrogens. It is found in commercial dairy products, plastics such as bisphenol A (BPA), phthalates and parabens, and chemicals used in nonstick materials.
  • Maintain breastfeeding for at least six months.
  • Avoid the underwired bra.
  • Avoid electromagnetic fields as much as possible.
  • Sleep enough.
  • Avoid stress.

Given the number of existing chemical risks and discussed above, the most important is to purify our life with a healthy diet, regular physical exercise, choose clothing or furniture made with natural products, favor cleaning products and natural cosmetics such as baking soda or vinegar.
