If Two People Are Meant To Be Together, Eventually They Will End Up

Some people are just made for each other. Among them, there are some who never leave each other after meeting each other; others find themselves separated by the circumstances of life, but end up in spite of time and obstacles to find each other, as if they were connected by an invisible link.

It happens that circumstances of life separate us from the loved one. And it happens that, years later, we are reunited again. It may be that years have passed, but our love and attachment to each other has never faded and remained so strong that it seems to us that it has not passed since our separation, that very little time.

What does it feel like to be separated from someone you still love?
To be separated from the beloved one is like a void. It is as if we are missing an essential part of ourselves. We dream of the person, and when we wake up, we wonder how things could have gone wrong.

Despite his absence, the person is always there through the memories, and through objects that belonged to him: a book on the shelf that takes dust, a sweatshirt in the wardrobe that we never had the strength to move, or a picture that tarnished over the years.

There are also certain situations that make us think of the person: food that she loved and used to share with us, or places full of memories: on this chair, we sat together for the first time, there, by the fireplace, we were awake for whole nights chatting, in the kitchen, we were preparing dinner together ...

Time can pass, we never stop thinking about the loved one
Our entourage stops talking to us about our companion, to wonder what it becomes, even to mention it. It disappears little by little from the minds of people. His memory falls into oblivion for everyone except us.

The day of his birthday, the phone is at hand, it only takes a few small gestures, so simple, to make a call, to send a message, but apprehension and fear prevail. What if we did not miss him?

We no longer appear together on social networks, and this is a strange thing to appear alone. This absence is a void, a part of us he took with him.

Waiting and hoping
Every week, every day, we secretly pray to God to be reunited again, whatever happens, and hope never goes out. We focus on proverbs, quotations.

"When someone is in your heart, he never really left. He can come back to you even when it seems unlikely, "- Mitch Albom

Why not try anything? Maybe a card, a letter, will she cause an answer from him? One clings to a ritual, every year, the same day, a letter.

The years go by, the world changes, but we always remain the same person inside. We are always the person deeply marked by an indelible love story, we always remain the person we have become thanks to the other, when we have flourished under his eyes, his attentions, and of which we are proud.

Find yourself, as if nothing had changed
Then there comes a day, a meeting, a call, a message, where his name, his face reappears, and he is no longer a ghost of the past.

One then feels excitement, and apprehension because this time, his presence is real. She's back, it's like waking up after a dream.

What has she done for all these years? How did she live? Where was she? With whom ? It does not matter, being together again is all that matters.

Our heart is whole again, we do not miss anything. Love does not fade with time, and the miracle that people who love each other have hoped for happened.
