What It Really Means To Take Care Of Yourself

With the swirling stress of life today, we often forget to treat our person well. For most, taking care of yourself is luxury. Also, relaxing, lounging, being massaged, eating balanced or even connecting with your inner self, remain rare acts, carried forward to the next day, for lack of time.

Why is it so difficult to indulge in well-being, to take a break, to have a hot bath and to flip through a magazine to relax? Yet, it is important to treat your body and mind with gentleness and indulgence. Admittedly, at first glance, it sounds simple but for a person exhausted psychically and physically, it is a worthy effort worthy of a mountain to climb.

To do this, it is necessary to establish some habits to adopt in everyday life. Good will is required to achieve this, but with perseverance, these rules will become a daily ritual that will be impossible to do without, they will be a prescribed therapeutic prescription for life for anyone suffering from their own internal pressure.

What taking care of yourself means ....
It is letting go on all the events of life, even the simplest and that we often tend to complicate. It is forgetting to be meticulous, it is to do sports without striving to have abdominals of stars, it is healthy and balanced eating and allow yourself from time to time a little whim as a favorite delicacy.

It's trying to get up each morning in a good mood by suggesting that this day will be the most beautiful. To take the time to have breakfast, without rushing out, just to nibble and suffer all the stress that the means of transport generate.

It is to slow down and not to run in all directions, to want to do everything at the same time; speeder man is pure fiction.

It is listening to your body, when it calls for rest, sleep, healthy and organic food and to repair the damage of alcohol and cigarettes on your body.

It is knowing how to say no when it is necessary and not feeling obliged to take on any additional responsibility that plunges us further into endless stress.

It is to let go and to follow sometimes, one's heart and one's intuition. To be always Cartesian and to analyze each situation is not always good for our mental and physical health.

It's not being too demanding of yourself and allowing yourself a margin of error. After all, it is by making mistakes that we become good apprentices in life.

It is taking the time to wash oneself and eat by becoming aware of each gesture and to appreciate each food that we chew by slowing down the rhythm and savoring the sensations that each movement gives us.

It's organizing your time and reserving yourself a few hours a week for your favorite hobbies and activities.

It is reconnecting with one's inner world, and refocusing on oneself by living the present moment and enjoying every moment as if it were the last of one's life.

This means that you have to be the sole master on board and have the controls to direct your life, it is not to be the victim but the hero is to be always honest even if you have to attract the animosity of others.

It means responding first to one's own needs in order to avoid the anxiety of depending on others and congratulating oneself on them, for every little gesture, no matter how small, towards one's own person, is a step towards the freedom of his inner world.
