Delicious Diet Quiche With Spinach And Ricotta Good For Health

This recipe is made with spinach, ricotta cheese, eggs, tomatoes and basil. All of these ingredients are not only suitable for the vegetarian diet but have health benefits because of their nutritional properties.

Spinach
Spinach is the health ally par excellence and you should never hesitate to put it on the menu. It contains many vitamins and minerals such as vitamin A, B9, C, E, calcium, potassium, magnesium and manganese and thus contributes to bone fortification. In addition to its iron richness that has made the reputation of Popeye, it also contains antioxidants that fight against free radicals causing aging of the cells of the body.

Ricotta cheese

Eggs

Spinach and ricotta quiche recipe
This recipe requires a preparation time of 25 minutes and a cooking time of 30 to 40 minutes.

Ingredients:

8 servings
  • Refrigerated dough made from wheat flour
  • 7 eggs, beaten, organic
  • 2 cups spinach fresh and chopped, organic
  • 2/3 cup of goat's milk
  • 6 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 tablespoons chopped fresh basil, organic
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 cup of ricotta cheese
  • 1/3 cup grated mozzarella
  • 3/4 cups of cherry tomatoes cut in half.

Preparation:

- First, start by preheating the oven to 180 °.
- Spread the dough on a floured worktop up to 27 centimeters in diameter.
- Transfer the spread dough to a mold and press firmly on the bottom and sides, then cut the excess on the edge of the mold.
- Stir the bottom of the dough with a fork and bake for 10 to 15 minutes.

In a large bowl, combine eggs, spinach, milk, parmesan, basil and salt.

In another bowl mix ricotta, mozzarella and the remaining parmesan cheese.
When the dough is pre-cooked, pour in the pre-prepared egg mixture and pour over the ricotta mixture.

Garnish with cherry tomatoes cut in half.
Return to oven and cook for 30 to 40 minutes. You can also stop cooking when the top of the quiche becomes golden and the inserted knife comes out clean.

Let the quiche cool slightly before serving, accompanied by a fresh salad.
