Benefits of ingredients

Garlic relieves colds and flu and boosts immunity. In a study in the UK, participants took either garlic supplements or placebo for 12 weeks during the cold season between November and February. Those who took garlic supplements were less likely to have a cold, and if they did, they would heal faster than the placebo group. Participants who did not take garlic were significantly more likely to get more than one cold during the 12-week treatment period. The researchers attributed garlic's ability to prevent the common cold virus to its biologically active component, allicin.

Garlic can also help control high blood pressure. According to a study conducted by the University of Adelaide, Australia, out of 50 people with uncontrollable blood pressure, it was discovered that just taking four capsules of aged garlic extract (960 milligrams) a day for three months dropped blood pressure by 10 points on average.

Honey is often used to treat superficial wounds, coughs and digestive problems. It has also proven effective for the treatment of Helicobacter pylori bacteria (H. pylori) thanks to its antibacterial effect.

It is also a powerful prebiotic, that is, it nourishes the good bacteria that live in the intestines, which are crucial not only for digestion but also for health in general.

Apple cider vinegar
Apple cider vinegar would have the ability to reduce cholesterol levels. According to a Japanese animal study, apple cider vinegar can reduce levels of cholesterol and triglycerides, which are among the risk factors for heart disease, because of its acetic acid content. Moreover, another study highlights the fact that daily consumption of vinegar could prevent the metabolic syndrome, that is to say the pathologies related to metabolic disorders, by reducing obesity.
