On a daily basis, we are confronted with many toxins. By breathing or ingesting them, we tire our bodies, push them to work harder and we inevitably take the direction of diseases. The goal is to change your diet for a few days, using draining foods, anti-inflammatory and sources of antioxidants, to increase the functions of the intestines, liver, kidneys, lungs and skin. Named elimination organs, they each play an important role in the elimination of toxins.

Thus, according to the principle of detox, it is appropriate to consume the right foods to improve the functioning of the body. To help you cleanse your body, boost its capacity and flush out toxins, here's a two-day detox program.

- The two-day detox program

Day 1 
Breakfast 
  • 1 cup of sugar-free green tea
  • 1 porridge of oatmeal without sugar (with almond milk and sprinkled with flaxseed)
  • ½ cup blueberries

Lunch 
  • 250g of grilled whiting accompanied by an average portion of Swiss chard and potatoes
  • 2 cups arugula and tomato salad with a drizzle of olive oil and lemon juice
  • 1 kiwi and 1 banana

Snack
  • 1 apple
  • 180ml of plain yoghurt
  • 1 handful of pumpkin seeds or nuts

Dinner 
  • 150g grilled tuna with ½ cup broccoli or spinach (steamed)
  • 2 cups salad with arugula and tomatoes
  • 1 piece of wholemeal bread
  • 1 herbal tea with anise
  • 1 square of dark chocolate

Day 2
Breakfast 
  • 1 cup of sugar-free green tea
  • 1 porridge of oatmeal without sugar (with almond milk and sprinkled with flaxseed)
  • 1 pear
Lunch 
  • 200g grilled chicken with a cup of fermented cabbage (sauerkraut type)
  • 1 serving of vegetable soup (potatoes, carrots, celery, peppers)
  • 1 kiwi

Snack
  • 1 serving of kefir
  • 1 apple
  • 1 handful of almonds and cashews

Dinner 
  • 1 salad of beetroot with a drizzle of lemon juice
  • 1 piece of carrot cake
  • 1 tea with nettle
Note that hydration is also important throughout the treatment and daily. Opt for water or for herbal teas and detox waters. For these, just put slices of vegetables, fruits and herbs (lemon, cucumber, strawberry, mint etc ...) in water and infuse one to two hours minimum.

WARNINGS :
This cure is to be done once or twice a month maximum. It is not recommended for pregnant and lactating women, people with diabetes, people with digestive disorders and kidney, liver and liver problems. Similarly, some drug interactions may be visible and dangerous. Take advice from your doctor or health professional before starting a detox treatment.
