Losing weight is often associated with a tedious process, punctuated by food frustration and a lot of deprivation. The shops are paved with several banana varieties from around the world, but the ones we usually eat are Cavendish. They come from Vietnam or China and are rich in dopamine. Banana is a good source of fiber, especially pectin. It is a soluble fiber that provides a sense of satiety (slowing down digestion) which prevents you from snacking between meals, to have less hearty meals and therefore lose weight. It also contains starch. It is found specifically in walled bananas, yellow and smooth in appearance. According to scientific research, this starch would reduce the storage of fat while preserving lean mass for an ideal corpulence.

It's no secret to anyone. To lose weight, it is necessary to practice a physical activity. Moreover, it is exactly at this level that this fruit also plays a role. The banana will provide you with the energy you will need for this by offering you a panel of good nutrients, necessary to optimize your physical performance.

Preparation
  • 5 bananas of biological origin
  • 2 liters of water

Choose bananas yellow and smooth in appearance, the ones that are still green tend to have an acrid taste after cooking. Remove the stem and wash thoroughly with water to clean. Put them in a saucepan filled with water and boil them for 15 minutes. Reduce heat and simmer for another 10 minutes. When the skin starts to tear, remove them from the fire. You can eat them whole or mashed for energy during your breakfast. Keep them cool for a week or less.

Pancakes with banana
Because diet does not have to rhyme with deprivation and frustration, here is a tasty pancake recipe for your Sundays. For a good brunch after a good sleep!

You need :
  • A boiled banana
  • 40 g of oat bran
  • An egg
  • Half a teaspoon of maple syrup
  • A vanilla pod scraped for taste
  • Coconut oil for cooking

The preparation is very simple. Simply put everything in a bowl and mix until you get a homogeneous paste, a little thicker than pancakes. Heat a nonstick skillet, put the coconut oil and cook for 2 minutes on each side. Serve with honey or maple syrup.
