13 Ways To Use Lemon Baking Soda For The Home, Beauty And Health

Lemon Baking Soda

1- To recycle your pots
If adopting a greener behavior is part of your new resolutions, then this trick is for you. Many times you want to reuse your glass jars afterwards, but you have trouble removing the pieces of label that stick on them. Put the pot in a saucepan and fill it with water. Add two tablespoons of baking soda and boil for ten minutes. This trick will remove sticky residue from the label and you can reuse it as you wish.

2- To wash your fruits and vegetables
You can never be entirely sure of the cleanliness of your fruits and vegetables. For this, use baking soda to wash them. Sprinkle on your food, and scrub with a brush. Rinse thoroughly with water afterwards. Baking soda will rid them of any impurity that could cover them, especially when it comes to pesticide residues.

3- For the exfoliation of your lips
With winter, one can have chapped and dried lips. To take care of it, there is no better than a good scrub followed by hydration. Mix some baking soda and honey, and massage your lips with your own homemade scrub, at most once a week. But beware ! if you have chapped lips, it is better not to erase them.

4- Clean your jewelry
