1. Criticizing others
Criticize others indicates a lack of self esteem and self confidence. One way to be negative which has its impact on your own happiness and that of your loved ones.
People who criticize or judge others are issuing judgments they dare not admit! For example, if a person treats someone incompetent which indeed evidence for his own fear of being perceived as incompetent.
If you want to be happy, accept the imperfections and shortcomings of others and stop judging them. Remember that nobody is perfect, and that everyone is struggling to move forward and become the best version.
2. Lack of gratitude
Gratitude is considered one of the shortest and the fastest ways to happiness, and the reverse is also true. Be ungrateful causes domestic unhappiness and suffering. Even during the darkest days, there are still things that you should be grateful for.
If the practice of gratitude is something new for you, start with the little things ... For example, if you have only 1 euro in pocket, be thankful. To be happy and stimulate happiness in your life, be thankful and satisfied with what you have, do not think about the things you do not have or your difficult goals that you continue following. First carry a positive outlook on your life now and the rest will follow.
3. Addiction and dependency
It is important to recognize your addictions ... The addiction can occur through regular use of drugs or excessive alcohol consumption, food or any other substance to feel better and avoid being fully engaged in life. Many people are not dependent, but still prefer the use of certain substances or drugs to feel good.
If your search for happiness through a few glasses of wine or a tub of ice cream every day, it's time to reassess these (bad) habits to see if they afford you happiness.! Some people (who are not addicts) stopped drinking alcohol because they consumed just to have a good time ... If you think you are in the same situation, try to stop and see how you feel, it could work ! You will feel free and this is the first step towards happiness.
4. Trying  to control everything
Often we tend to control everything, thinking about this will bring us a sense of security. But no one can control everything. Indeed, many things are uncontrollable, which may frustrate you, make you miserable and helpless. To find happiness keep calm and release ballast.
However, your attitude and your reactions to certain situations are part of the things you can control, so remember to be positive and to react in the right way to bring happiness and joy into your life!
5. Blaming others
The human tendency is to blame and blame others for his own mistakes and bad choices. According to Dr. Brene Brown, a researcher in the humanities, blaming is nothing more than a discharge of pain. When something painful happens to us, most of us will automatically find something or someone to blame for pain relief. Blaming becomes a way to reduce the misery and psychological distress ... What is strange is that at first, blame can be effective, but its effectiveness does not last long.
Try to control yourself at moments of sadness and pain and stop blaming others for your own choices. Ask yourself questions and try to find the true cause of your problems, because ultimately you are the one responsible for your actions and your choices. You should be more responsible and happiness will knock on your door!
6. Do not live in the present
There is only one place you can be: this moment! If you constantly think of the past and you bemoan your fate, be certain that you will never be happy ...
The past should be used as means to learn the right lessons and move forward, not to haunt you and prevent you from giving your best. Similarly, the future is uncontrollable and beyond you. Do not think too much, because you may miss the best moments of your life here and now.
