Homemade antibacterial gel recipe

Ingredients:

To prepare your natural sanitizer gel, you will need:

- A 30 ml spray bottle
- One teaspoon of 70 degree alcohol
- 2 tablespoons of aloe vera gel
- A teaspoon of vegetable oil (olive, sweet almond, avocado, argan etc.)
- 10 drops of tea tree essential oil
- 5 drops of lavender essential oil

Preparation
In a bowl, start by mixing the alcohol and essential oils. Then pour in the vegetable oil and aloe vera gel and mix a second time. Finally, transfer your preparation to your spray bottle. Your homemade antibacterial gel is ready!

If you need to clean your hands and you don't have soap and water available, just place a small dab of this gel in the palm of your hand and rub for 20 or 30 seconds until they are completely dry.

Why does it work?
Thanks to its antibacterial and antiseptic properties, tea tree essential oil will help you get rid of germs that get lodged on your hands.

Lavender essential oil, also known for its antiseptic and antibacterial properties, will give you a very pleasant feeling of freshness.

The vegetable oil will help dilute essential oils which should never be applied alone to the skin. It will also provide more softness and hydration.

Aloe vera gel will help nourish and hydrate your hands. It is also rich in saponins, natural molecules with cleaning and antiseptic properties.

Finally, for a sanitizer to be effective, it must contain between 60 and 80% alcohol, as chemist Normand Voyer recalls.

Precautions for use
It is not recommended to apply this gel to children under 3 years of age.
This preparation can be stored for two months away from heat and humidity.
