1. Clean rust
Whether it's your tools or any other utensil, all of your metal items can end up rusting. To restore their shine, mix a little vinegar with coarse salt and dip your object in the mixture for a few minutes before rubbing it with a cloth. You will see, the result is amazing.

3. Remove bad odors

5. Fight humidity
Humidity can wreak havoc in your home. To create your own dehumidifier at a lower cost, all you need is an empty plastic bottle and 200 g of coarse salt. Cut the bottle in half and pierce the cap of it several times. Next, place the top of the bottle down and drop it inside the second half of your container. Consolidate everything with adhesive tape.
