Recreational Vehicle Insurance

ATV, or all terrain vehicles, are a great way to have fun at the cabin or on an acreage. They are also very useful in hunting, fishing, and other outdoor activities. However, they can be dangerous as well. It is important to have ATV Insurance coverage.

Some common ATV's that require coverage are:
Snowmobiles Quads
Dirt Bikes Skidoos or Ski-doos

All terrain vehicles, just like any other vehicle, can be insured against risks of accidents, theft, fire etc. The user could get into an accident or a third party might get injured or even die; these risks can be insured. There are mainly two types of ATV insurance:

Comprehensive: In comprehensive insurance plan the ATV is covered for the damages or loss. If the recreation vehicle is damaged then it will be repaired or if it is fully damaged then the off-road unit would be replaced. The market cost of the vehicle would be paid.

Third party cover only:  Under this, the insurance coverage is only for death or injury to the third party and also includes pillion riders and damages to third party vehicle. This covers only third party, which means the other parties and not the insurance policy holder. This is one of the most preferred, as many people do not want to pay for damages to the other parties. When you are insured for third party cover and in case of an accident, the insurance company would get in and take care of the necessary requirements.

Insurance Motorcycle

A motorcycle is one of the trendiest modes of transportation, but they can be dangerous. It is important to have insurance motorcycle coverage. Insurance companies sometimes will not insure bikers below the age of 25 years.

Motorbikes like any other vehicle can be insured against risks of accidents, theft, fire etc. The biker can receive coverage for themselves or third parties who may claim on the insurance due to a mishap. There are mainly two types of motorcycle insurance:

Comprehensive: In comprehensive insurance plan the motorcycle is covered for the damages or loss. If the motorbike is damaged then a claim on the motorcycle insurance can be made and the bike will be repaired or replaced. The market cost of the motorbike would be paid. If the bike is leased then the bike owner would be entitled to receive the payment. After an accident has taken place and if the bike is not in a working condition due to mechanical problems then the bike would be taken to a bike mechanic for repair. It will be delivered to the bikers address after repairs.

Third party cover only:  Under this, the insurance for motorcycles coverage is only helps the third party (including their vehicle), including passengers. The motorbike insurance policy holder is not covered. This is one of the most preferred, as many people do not want to pay for damages to the other parties; they want the insurance company to take care of it.
