Stop Having Oily Skin

It seems that people with oily skin are lucky because the excess lipid protects the skin and prevents the appearance of wrinkles. This applies only to people aged fifty and over, for those who are a little younger, it would appear that this phenomenon is a real constraint.

There are many specific treatments that treat oily skin, astringent creams, masks, cleansing lotions but sometimes none of them seems to be able to effectively combat this problem. One must find a solution and get around the problem by learning to live with instead of trying to solve it at all costs. Especially since all these products of trade tend to irritate the skin and this one takes revenge in secreting even more sebum.

The best is to use natural methods so as not to attack the skin and control its oily and shiny appearance. Here are 5 simple and inexpensive to try at home.

The cider vinegar

The reputation of cider vinegar for cosmetic care is more to do. It intervenes especially in the treatment of oily skin thanks to its astringent and antibacterial properties that control the secretion of sebum. Applied directly to the skin, it can have an irritating effect, so it is advisable to dilute it with water to avoid risk.

Clean your face with lukewarm water and put on your face a cotton soaked in the vinegar / water mixture. There will be a slightly strong smell during application but will disappear quickly after the vinegar has evaporated.

The aloe vera

Just like cider vinegar, aloe vera has astringent, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and moisturizing properties. Many studies have shown that aloe vera gel contains over 75 active ingredients with therapeutic effects that combat skin impurities and acne.
After cleansing your face in the morning, apply a dab of aloe vera gel and massage gently to make it penetrate. You will have the sensation that your skin is fresh and thoroughly cleansed. At the end of the day, you will notice that the T zone of your face (forehead, nose and chin) is less shiny and less oily than usual.

Rose water

Rose water is miraculous because it not only has a moisturizing effect on dry skin but also a tonic power on oily skin. Do not hesitate to sprinkle your face throughout the day. To do this, fill a small spray bottle with natural rose water and carry it wherever you go.

After spraying a few drops on your face, especially do not touch it and wait a few minutes, the water will have been completely absorbed without even damaging your makeup. Your skin is moisturized and glowing with freshness!

The jojoba oil

Even oily skin requires moisturizing products, both creams and oils. The oil of jojoba is very effective to fight against the oily aspect because it resembles enormously the sebum. By applying it to the face, the skin feels that it has enough and thus avoids excessive production.

In the evening, after cleaning your face, apply a few drops of jojoba oil; It is useless to massage because after a minute or two the oil will be completely absorbed. After one week of daily application, your skin will be more dull and softer to the touch.

Lavender floral water

Floral water contains aromatic compounds with many properties: astringent, antiseptic and purifying. It is softer than essential oil and more diluted, so it can be applied to the skin.

Lavender has anti-inflammatory properties that balance the epidermis.
Before applying your usual moisturizer, spray a few drops of floral water on your face and let it dry completely. Your skin will get rid of its excess sebum and will have a pleasant smell of lavender.
