Have A Baby Skin With Bicarbonate

Baking soda has many benefits, it cleans and deodorizes your home and replaces both yeast chemical for your pastry preparations and your toothpaste to brush and whiten your teeth. Among all its uses, there is one in particular to which we will be interested in this article, it is in care for the skin.

How Sodium Bicarbonate Works

Baking soda works especially on problem skins that suffer from acne, dryness, irritation or eczema. So you do not have to go to commercial cosmetics that are often expensive when you have bicarbonate at your fingertips. If you do not have one at home, you will find it in pharmacies and supermarkets in the drugstore department.

Sodium bicarbonate has an amphoteric action, ie it acts as an acid or a base capable of eliminating the pH disorders of the skin, often causing acne. Moreover, it promotes the disappearance of the sebum by drying the skin and has anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties which make it possible to avoid the appearance of blackheads and pimples. Mixed with water, it exfoliates impurities and dead skin.

People with sensitive skin should use it in moderation because its drying action tends to cause redness and change the pH of the skin. It should therefore be avoided more than twice a week. On the other hand, if you observe a reaction from the first use, know that this product is not made for you!

Here are some effective treatments and masks to clean problem skins:

The mixture of sodium bicarbonate and water

Mix 2 tablespoons of bicarbonate and 2 tablespoons of water to obtain a paste of homogeneous consistency.

Apply it on a cleaned and dried face, insisting on the buttons and let it act for about 15 minutes before rinsing with clear water. Then hydrate yourself with your usual moisturizer.

Who says skin problems says pimples all over the body, not just the face. So you can use bicarbonate when you take your bath.
Fill the bathtub with hot water, add 150 g of baking soda and stir. Immerse yourself in the bath for about 20 minutes then rinse under the shower. This will slow down the formation of acne pimples and blackheads.
