What are the benefits of shrimp
This crustacean is different in size and color. It is low in calories but rich in protein and omega 3 of marine origin and thus protects the cardiovascular system. On the other hand, astaxanthin, which is a pigment conferring the orange and pink color of shrimp and other crustaceans, is a powerful antioxidant superior to that of beta-carotene and vitamin E and thus allows a good protection of cardiovascular diseases.

In addition, the shrimp contains coenzyme Q10, which has a chemical structure similar to vitamin K, and acts to reduce blood pressure and prevent the oxidation of LDL cholesterol. Its richness in phosphorus contributes to the formation of bones and teeth. Just as the vitamin B12 it contains, also called cobalamin, maintains the nerve cells.

In addition, shrimps are rich in selenium, magnesium, iron, zinc and vitamin E, which help to develop the bone mass, transfer oxygen necessary for the energy production of muscle cells and protect the membrane that surrounds the cells of the body.

The benefits of other ingredients

Coconut milk
Coconut milk is rich in minerals, especially iron, potassium and phosphorus and is a good alternative to cow's milk as well as almond milk or other vegetable milks. Its rich selenium helps promote healthy bones and joints. According to Conso globle, coconut milk is a healthy ally because it is rich in iron, potassium, phosphorus, manganese and zinc. However, it is advisable to consume it in moderation since it is rich in lipids, especially in saturated fatty acids which give it its sweet and unctuous taste.

Turmeric
Turmeric is native to Southeast Asia, and its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects are no longer to be proven. A study published in NCBI has demonstrated the anticancer properties of curcumin and its ability to inhibit the formation of tumors in animals. It can also have an anti-tumor effect in people who are at risk of developing a tumor.

In addition, turmeric protects against cardiovascular disease, diabetes and inflammatory bowel disease. Indeed, a study has shown that turmeric extract can improve the symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome.
