The feet have more than 7000 nerve endings, the footbath remains a practical and especially effective way to clean the body of toxins. For this, different ingredients are put in place:

1. Epsom salt
To prepare salt from the foot bath, you must combine Epsom salt with sea salt in equal proportion. Add two glasses of baking soda and a drop of your favorite essential oil. Once the mixture is ready, add hot water and stir everything until all ingredients are dissolved. Let your feet relax for at least 30 minutes.

Not only will this method lower the levels of toxins in your body but it will also eliminate skin irritation and supplement your body with magnesium. Indeed, according to one study, an Epsom salt bath is an effective way to increase magnesium levels in the body.

2. The clay
Take two equal amounts of Epsom salt and clay. Mix them with a few drops of your favorite essential oil and pour hot water. Put your feet in this liquid and let stand about twenty minutes. Thus, bentonite clay is considered beneficial to the body and helps it to detoxify itself.

3. Hydrogen peroxide
Mix two cups of hydrogen peroxide with dried ginger powder and then add hot water. Once the mixture is ready, relax in a warm foot bath for a minimum of 30 minutes. This mixture eliminates toxins from the body, reduces allergies, irritations and stress.

The detoxifying scrub of the feet

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup of sea salt
  • ½ cup of olive oil
  • 4-5 drops of lemon essential oil
  • 2 drops of peppermint oil
  • 2 lemons cut in slices

Shake the mixture until the oils are well distributed in the contents. Apply an average amount on each foot by gently rubbing all parts for at least 5 minutes.

Caution :
This detoxification technique is prohibited to children under 5 years and nursing or pregnant women. It is also contraindicated for people with open wounds in the feet and people with implants or transplants.
